Gemma Doyle, la protagonista de los libros "La orden de la academia Spence" y "Ángeles rebeldes". Es una chica algo... peculiar. Lo que más me gusta de ella es esa ironía y sarcasmo que destila a todas horas.
En el dibujo tiene una pose muy altiva. Así la imagino yo, queriendo formar parte de la sociedad y a la vez tratando de protegerse de la misma... He tardado una semana en acabarlo porque sólo podía pintar entre trabajo y trabajo de clase. Acabé harta de la falda, la he pintado a trozos (y creo que se nota...). Pero la expresión de la cara me gusta mucho. She is Gemma Doyle, the heroine of the books "A great and terrible beauty" and "Rebel angels." She's a little... quirky. What I like about her is the irony and sarcasm that exudes all the time. In the picture has a very haughty pose. I guess her so, wanting to be part of Victorian society and at the same time trying to protect her from this same society... I took one week to finish it because I could only paint between working class. I finished so tired of the skirt, I painted it by pieces. But I love the expression of her face. |

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Doncs he de dir que, de moment, aquest dibuix és el que més m'agrada dels que has penjat! M'agrada molt com ha quedat el cabell i la cara, té una mirada molt altiva, però és molt bufona questa noia!
I no es nota gaire que has pintat la falda a trossos, l'únic que jo veig així més malament és la part del tors. Em sembla que la part dels hombros a la cintura és massa llarga... I el coll també és molt llarg, prò el coll així queda bé amb la resta del dibuix.

Lo del torso... a ver, he intentao q se notase q el corsé es incómodo (la prota del libro siempre lo comenta...).
Y Gemma se ve a sí misma algo chicote, así q le he hecho unos hombros bien definidos... aunq lo del cuello si q no tiene excusa... XD
